The longer range plans of Colorado Springs for Haiti is to concentrate our energy on education and building a better country on many fronts.  The devastation of the recent earthquake spotlighted the current sub-standard building practices.  It is the Corporation’s intent to bring together those interested in preventing another disaster by building a new type of community that can be duplicated in many areas where nothing but ruins exist today.

Colorado Springs for Haiti is to function as an international not for profit corporation headquartered in Colorado Springs but with outreach center(s) in country.  Fundraising, administration and promotion of the project(s) shall be primarily done in the United States whereas program(s) will be done by nationals whenever possible in country.  There are no limits as to what God might have us do in Haiti and our purpose as stated here should in no way impose any such limits.
